    Superb

The location in the medina is excellent since it is easily accessible by car/taxi. The view from the terrace over the medina, service and food also are first-rate. The owner (who spent 20 years in Canada) speaks excellent English, lives on the premises, and is intent on running a first- rate riad by being very responsive to his guest's needs.

It is difficult to enjoy the medina without a guide and, at the moment, the owner of the riad cannot recommend a suitable guide, leaving it up to the guests to find their own guide. In addition, the pool is very small and not intended for swimming.

The owner was extremely nice and approachable for any special needs or requests. He personally gave us a tour of the hotel, showing us all the work that had been done to restore the property, which was extremely well done, clean, and beautiful. The setting was peaceful, which you would never imagine from the busyness going on outside of the hotel. The location is near the entrance to the medina, making it easy to explore the surroundings easily. The terrace has a very nice view and one night we were able to enjoy a bottle of wine up there in their very comfortable lounge furniture. To experience the hospitality of a traditional riad, I would recommend this place to friends.

This is not a simple hotel but a Home where stay among friends. Reibal, the owner was charming and did everything that he possibly could to make our stay fantastic and the staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming!!! The restaurant was very very good and very quiet and clean, like the rooms!!! The best place to stay in Fes and unfortunately is very difficult to find a place like this in other places!

We had an excellent stay in this riad. The availability of the owner was remarkable, both before and during our stay; the place has been renewned with an execellent taste and is literraly one minute walking from the Medina (the must see in Fes). The staff is friendly and helpful, which is needed in a somehow agressive city.

    Very good

The riad is excellently positioned on the edge of the old medina, so this is a great location for a one or two night stay in Fes. The food and service were excellent. We ate in the hotel for two nights and they were the best two Moroccan meals we had in our six night Morocco visit. Sitting under the stars on the rooftop terrace, the sounds and smells of the medina below. Reibal and his small team went out of their way to look after us and make us feel at home. They succeeded, albeit metaphorically.

A beautiful, comfortable and peaceful Riad on the edge of the Medina. Easy access by taxi. Rooms are big and luxurious, very comfortable beds, large bathrooms with shower and bath. Complimentary water and fruit in rooms. Good internet access. Traditional Moroccan breakfast very good. We ate in the restaurant one night and food and wine was superb. Staff attentive and helpful. Reibal, the owner does everything to make your stay fantastic. Organised us an excellent English speaking guide for the Medina and even sent one of his staff to buy our train tickets to Marrakech. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Riad as a place to stay in Fes.

    Superb

The room was gorgeous and had a lovely bathroom with large bath and shower. The roof-top terrace had great views over Fes and we ate breakfast there every morning. The staff are attentive and always willing to help.

The pool, due to regulation restraints, is only waist depth and is quite small.

Riad Andalib was pretty much perfect. It was clean and comfortable, with spacious rooms and a lovely terrace. It was beautifully done, a great mix of modern and traditional. The pool was refreshing after a hot day in fes, and the public seating area was very pretty, peacefull and comfortable. Reibal was a charming and extremely helpfull host, always friendly and interested. We had a very warm welcome by him and his kind staff, and in a small place like this, you get to know them and the other guests very well. The location was excellent, accessible by car, but still just a few steps from the medina. Surrounded by good cafes and Resteraunts, you couldn't go wrong if you chose this as a place to stay.

The plants are crying out for water!!

This really is a great place. I've been Fes a number of times and you cant beat this place for price and location. When next returning to Fes I shall be staying here. The staff are excellent and the owner will go out of his way to make your stay the most comfortable and peaceful as possible. You really cannot go wrong staying here, an absolute gem in Fes

This is a luxurious hotel easily accessable by taxi, so there is no need to drag your luggage through the narrow alleys of the ancient medina. The riad however is within the old medina, several minutes walk from the Qaraween. The proprietor, a charming and gracious host, took the trouble to wait for our late arrival and then showed us around. We really had a very comfortable stay within the famous old medina of Fez.

The owner has spent six years restoring this riad to its former glory, using local craftsmen. The result is the most beautiful and comfortable small hotel, a real haven of peace on a busy street very close to the bottom entrance to the medina. We were the only guests in the riad for most of our 3-day stay, but the owner and staff could not have been more attentive and helpful.

    Superb

This is a lovely Riad well located for easy taxi access just outside the main medina. It is beautifully restored and the food is excellent. The host is charming and well informed.

Our only issues was that as it was mid winter the central Riad courtyard was uncomfortably cold for enjoying meals. One doesnt want to eat meals in a heavy fleece.

Beautifull Riad with extremely friendly owner. We felt at home the minute we walked in this little palace. Rooms are luxurious with heating, comfortable beds, well equipped bathrooms and sitting place. The food is excellent and everything you need is attended to. Reibal, the owner will help you with all your questions. The staff is very nice too. The location is the best you can find in Fes, right in the heart of the medina, next to all the main sights. We will not hesitate to book this accommodation again. We travelled all over the world and think this is one of the best places we ever stayed.

The charming owner and manager, Reibal, has devoted six years to rebuilding and furnishing this exceptional riad. He has specified only the best materials and workmanship and has thus achieved a stunning result incorporating expertly-crafted plaster work, tiling, marble and cedar wood features. Multi-lingual Reibal is helpful and attentive, taking great care to look after all his guests and to offer advice, when asked. All the staff are friendly and guests' requests are met cheerfully and expertly. The inclusive breakfast was generous in the extreme and the restaurant menu pleasing. Riad Andalib is a sparkling oasis and well worth a visit.
